This midcentury stoneware bird figure from Sweden’s Gustavsberg is number 2 of a series – called FLOCK- designed by ceramicist Sven Wejsfelt (b. 1930 – d. 2009)
The bird is glazed in dark brown with mustard yellow details. The bird has a maximum length of 17cm and a maximum height of 11cm. The wing span is 18cm wide.
The base of the bird is fully marked GUSTAVSBERG SWEDEN FLOCK-2 SW. It dates back to the early 1970s.
